The gloves are manufactured from a 22 oz. basket weave blend of Kevlar and polybenzimidazole (PBI) for dexterity and extreme heat protection. Unlike cotton and other glove materials, Kevlar/PBI blend gloves won't burn in air, melt, or emit toxic fumes when exposed to high temperatures. The gloves are fully lined and protect against temperatures as high as 1,000 degrees.
